Candy dress

Hi guys!

Here I bring you one of my last creations. I've been sewing a lot lately which is good because I had it left behind. This funny dress is the last piece of clothing that I made. I saw this liquorice sweets printed fabric in the shop and  I just feel in love with it. As you can see it is sleeveless dress with a zipper at the back, not recommended for this time of the year because it is still chilly but I can't wait to use it so probably I'll use a basic tee underneath.

At the moment I am making a t-shirt so that's probably what you'll see soon. I hope you like the dress and the pics.

Enjoy the weekend!

Patterned Calendar

Hello! I hope you are fine!

Today I am going to dedicate this post to one of my projects for this new year, my "Patterned calendar". I've always loved patterns. My life is surrounded by patterns, in my clothes, my house, my phone, my drawings... I am specially attracted by crazy, colourful, messy, funny and eccentric patterns. Since I started working with Adobe Illustrator I decided to make different geometric patterns and design a single one for every month and join them together to give shape to a new project. I liked so much the result and, what is more, I learned  and improved my skills with this software. What you can see in the pictures is the cover of the calendar in the printed version and two months, January which is already gone and February which I want welcome. I will post a new one every month.

I hope you like it!

Furry handbag!

Hello! Happy new year to everyone!

To begin the new year I bring you some pictures of my last creation, a furry handbag. I had this idea since long ago but it took me long time to stop and do it because I never found a furry fabric I really like. It was about two weeks ago when I started thinking that I had to go back to sewing because during the past few months I've been dedicating most of my time to illustration, and so I did. I went to the fabric shop in town, actually thinking about getting a patterned fabric for a dress and by chance I found this zebra furry cloth, which I love. Then I said to myself this is going to be the one I will use for my handbag. It didn't take me long to finish it, about two days. It's and easy pattern, a double rectangle closing with a zipper. I add those two pins that I bought in a small shop but really cool near my house.

I hope you like it! Enjoy the day!
